Something not behaving?
Most questions land in one of these. If yours doesn't, write — a real person reads it.

Entries
How do I write an entry?
Pull down on the Sensi list and let go — the editor opens. You can also pull down on a person's page, on a day in the calendar, or use the plus button in the header.
How do I delete one?
Swipe a row left in the Sensi list or on a person's page. In the calendar's day list, press and hold the row and choose Delete.
Where does the title come from?
The first line of your note is the title, the second line is the subtitle — the same rule Apple Notes uses. Long titles are truncated in the list, never cut when you edit.
Can I log something for yesterday, or for next week?
Yes. The entry's time defaults to now, but you can set any date and time. Entries in the future are grouped under Upcoming.
Mood scale
Can I change the colours and the faces?
Settings holds two rows of eleven wells, one per step from -5 to +5. Tap a colour well to recolour that step, tap the face under it to choose an emoji. Each step keeps a single glyph.
I changed the palette — why do old entries look different?
Every entry stores the emoji and the colour it was saved with, so your history stays true to how you logged it. New entries use the new palette.
How do I bring old entries onto the new palette?
Settings has a Restamp history screen. Put the pill on a step to restamp only that step's entries, or use the second control to restamp every step. Both need a slide to confirm.
Can I make the faces bigger?
Yes — Settings has an emoji size slider, and the sample glyph at each end is drawn at the size that end produces.
People
What gets imported from my contacts?
Name, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses and the contact photo. It's a copy — editing a person in SensiNote never touches your address book.
I updated someone in Contacts. Does SensiNote follow?
Import them again and their fields are refreshed in place. You won't get a duplicate.
Can I add someone who isn't in my contacts?
Yes, add them by hand. You can set a photo and crop it inside the app.
Ads and purchase
Where do the ads appear?
A single banner at the bottom of the three main lists — entries, calendar and people. Detail pages, the editor and the full-screen media viewer never show one.
Do the ads see what I write?
No. The ad SDK has no access to your entries, notes, photos or the people you import, and none of it is used to target ads. It sees the device, not the journal.
How do I remove the ads?
Settings has a one-time $2.99 purchase. Once it is active the ad code is not loaded at all — nothing is merely hidden.
I bought it — how do I get it on my other device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and the purchase restores in Settings. One purchase covers iPhone and iPad.
How do I change my ad consent choice?
Settings can reopen the consent form at any time, including withdrawing consent. The tracking prompt is separate and lives in the system Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Reminders and sync
When does the daily reminder fire?
19:00 by default, and you can move it in Settings. It's a local notification — tapping it opens a new entry straight away.
Does SensiNote sync between my devices?
Yes, through your own iCloud. Sign the devices into the same Apple Account with iCloud switched on and your entries and their photos follow you. The data sits in your private iCloud container — we have no access to it.
Can I turn iCloud sync off?
Yes, in the system Settings under your Apple Account → iCloud. SensiNote keeps working with the copy already on that device.
How do I get my data out?
There's no export in this version. If that's what you need, say so in an email — it helps set what gets built next.
